Our journey started almost 70 years ago as JH Minet Company. In 1997 Aon, the leading global provider of risk management, human resource consulting and outsourcing, acquired the U.K. shareholder, London Minet, as part of their African expansion strategy. As a result, the company became Aon Minet, and subsequently Aon. In 2017 private equity firm Capitalworks acquired Aon’s shareholding in several African operations, alongside local shareholders including governments in many markets, which has created what is now Aon’s largest Global Network Correspondent.

LEADERSHIP
Eddy Chivanga
Chief Executive Officer
Eddy Chivanga is Chief Executive Officer at Minseg Mozambique. He has insurance experience stretching more than 25 years, the majority of which is at senior management level. His insurance career started with Old Mutual Short Term (at that time “RM Insurance”) in Zimbabwe, and after stints with two more companies, he relocated to Mozambique to join GlenrandMIB, a brokerage quoted on the JSE which was subsequently acquired by Aon. As a qualified insurance practitioner through Associateship of The Insurance Institute of South Africa, Eddy also holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management.
Isac Sega
Chief Financial Officer
Isac Sega is Chief Financial Officer at Minseg Mozambique and has overall responsibility for the Finance, Administration and Human Resources functions. Isac has an extensive experience of more than 11 years working in finance. He previously worked for multinationals such as Maersk, Rogers IDS, and DHL where he held senior finance positions before joining Minseg (at that time “Aon”). Isac holds a degree in Accounting and Finance.
